As many of you know, we’ve welcomed a new, little girl into our family. Newborn babies are amazing and Elle is truly a blessing from God. Since this is our second child, we knew what to expect when bringing her home — some major adjustments to our lives and not much sleep. So, we came up with a plan to share baby responsibility during the day and night so that we could each try and get a few hours of sleep at a time. My loving wife encouraged me to sleep from 10pm-2am last night. Then, aside from feedings, any needs Elle had (diaper changes, crying etc) would be met by me from2-6:30am. I felt my wife come to bed around 2am this morning. As she struggled to get into bed and was in obvious pain, I asked an innocent question (a question I have been asking A LOT recently), “is there anything I can do ?” Her answer…”Yeah, stop breathing on me.” Teamwork baby…teamwork. I can’t stop laughing at comment!
